DRESS: Sugarcane / SHOES: Ruby & Bloom
Happy Monday, y’all!
Have we got a treat for you today! We are such big fans of Sugarcane and are so happy to share a bit about their clothing and mission with y’all.
Ria Faust, founder of Sugarcane explains a bit of why she created Sugarcane on her website. “I started Sugarcane in 2013, inspired by the indigenous textiles of the Philippines and the artisans who uphold the loom weaving tradition. They reflect the bold aesthetics and tribal patterns of the cultures my daughter and I have seen throughout our travels. Sugarcane is vibrant and globally conscious dressing for toddlers size 2 to 5 years. The Sugarcane mission is to preserve the indigenous art of loom weaving and support its women artisans. Through children’s wear it is exploring a new way of using traditional textiles.”
We are proud to have collaborated with Sugarcane in the past (here and here) and happy to do so again today. We like supporting a girl boss that’s trying to make a difference in the world and also happens to make fabulous clothes. We love that the dresses don’t have characters and too much going on. The simplicity and details makes the dresses incredibly interesting without all of the bells and whistles. Definitely check out the entire Sugarcane line and perhaps find a cute Easter dress!
Have a wonderful day, y’all! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Thank you to Sugarcane for partnering on this post.
