One of my favorite things in the world is hosting parties in our home. We love being around the people that mean the most to us and making them feel loved. Holiday hosting can be overwhelming if you don’t have a plan! Here are my tried and true must haves when hosting a holiday event!
Must have #1 : Elegant Ambiance
I wanted the twinkle lights and candles light up this party and create a cozy, intimate setting for our friends. I added 36 candles to the house from entryway all the way to the fireplace. I love how it turned out. These candle holders are from Dollar Tree and at $1 a piece, the price was well worth the effect.
Must Have #2: Beautiful Blooms
Piney Rose Floral was kind enough to make these beautiful arrangements for our party. I love how they added the perfect amount of color to our home, making it extra festive.
Must Have #3: Fun Music
I don’t think you can go wrong with Justin Timberlake in a party setting so we had his concert playing in the background.
Y’all I’m obsessed with these little . They are battery operated and looked so pretty as our backdrop.
Barry, our 15 year old golden retriever was so social during our party that he slept all day the following day!
Must Have #4: Great Food & Drinks
Who doesn’t love great food and wine? Give me allll the cheese boards too! Gorgeous food and beautiful flowers means you don’t need a lot of extra decor.
One very important thing I’ve learned after hosting for many years is that things don’t have to be perfect. Perfection usually translates to stuffy or unapproachable. Most people want to be cared for and feel comfortable. That’s what true hosting is all about.
A big thank you to Piney Rose Floral for collaborating on this post!
