MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH

Happy Wednesday, y’all! My mom, daughter, and I just shared some of the sweetest memories together at our Mother’s Day brunch! I’ve been trying to think of a tradition to start with the two most important ladies in my life and I think we’ve found it! Our brunch was so special that I can’t wait to do this every year and see how it evolves as my daughter ages.

This gorgeous Minted card set the tone for the entire event. Cards are the way to my mom’s heart. She would rather read the words and know our feelings than receive any other type of gift. I love giving Minted cards because they can be personalized and photos can be added making them unique and special.

I kept the food simple for this Mother’s Day brunch as I want to teach my daughter is that while the food and tablescape is pretty it’s not the main reason we are getting together. I hope she will remember the effort that goes into making a special moment for her Ommy. I wil be sharing this delicious salad later this week! We ALL loved it, including my little one.

A long time ago Sophie named her grandma, “Ommy” it stuck and we love Ommy so much! This is the card Sophie gave to her Ommy. It included adorable pictures of Sophie and her brother that made her laugh and laugh!

This may be one of my favorite posts, ever. I love our little family so much and cannot wait to continue this tradition with my girls! My mom is a shining example of love, generosity, and sacrifice. I just pray that you feel loved today and every day! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY, Mom! I love you, so!

    What a unique celebration and great tradition to have! one of the traditions my mom started with me when I was younger was going to high tea. It is something we still do today! these special celebrations and moments are some of the best I have! And i hope to potentially pass some of them on to my “future children”.
