Throwing parties for our children is definitely one of our favorite things to do! Seeing the kiddos get excited about the decorations and yummy food is priceless. For our Halloween party we wanted something extremely kid-friendly but also fun for the adults. We achieved this with great food, drinks, and fun decor.
Our caramel apple bar was a big hit at the party. Who doesn’t love covering an apple with caramel and yummy toppings?
Our decor included the classic Halloween colors: orange, black and white. We made the backdrop interesting by adding polka dots and other more subtle patterns. And different patterns were tied into our table runners and paper products. We made the table runners and topiary ourselves to add a more custom feel and so everything wouldn’t match exactly. We always think coordinating items are so much more interesting than matching items.
Of course we had cookies made by our amazing friend, Trish at Treats by Trish. Aren’t they amazing? They’re delicious, too!
A Halloween party isn’t complete without a piñata and pumpkin decorating. Our kiddos and their friends had a great time trying to get treats out of the piñata and were covered in glitter after decorating their pumpkins. Gosh, life is so simple through the eyes of a child.
The best part of this party decor is that it’s going to be saved! Halloween doesn’t change much from year to year, so we can definitely use our decorations again next year.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Y’ALL!
