MINTED VALENTINE’S

Happy Friday, y’all!

We are excited to partner with Minted and show you the most adorable kids Valentines that my kids will be sharing with their preschool classmates this year! We looked through the hundreds of choices offered by Minted and my daughter, the ballerina, chose the Tutu Cute Valentine and my son, the guys-guy, chose Hauler Back. Both Valentine’s are just as cute in person as they are online. The quality is so nice and I love that they can be customized. On the back of each Valentine, we included the name of the school, class name and the year.

Along with the Valentine, the kids wanted to make our go-to treat, dipped pretzels. We make these a lot for preschool and the kids love them. They are easy to make and quite tasty! See recipe below.

Jack chose solid colored sprinkles.

This treat is easy enough for the kids to make mostly themselves. They’re always more proud to give gifts that they had a hand in rather than something I bought or made. I love that! I also think it teaches them that it takes work to make things and they realize it when they receive a homemade gift and are grateful.

This boy! The more melted candy the better!

And lots and lots of sprinkles!

Once the pretzels were dry, we put one in each cello bag and tied tulle ribbon to match the card. Sophie chose pink.

Jack chose salmon tulle. No pink for him!

Valentines and Stickers c/o Minted

The Dipped Pretzels are so easy to make! I like that they are inexpensive and not a huge sugar bomb like a cupcake!

What you’ll need:
Pretzel rods
Microwaveable candy wafers
Valentine’s sprinkles
Cello bags
Tulle

To Make:
Melt candy wafers according to package instructions.
Dip pretzel in the melted candy and twirl around to make sure all sides are covered.
Lay on wax paper and add sprinkles. Leave on wax paper until completely dry.
Once dry, put decorated pretzel in cello bag and tie ribbon around it. Voila! You are done in no time!

There is still time to order Valentine’s from Minted before the big day! Make sure to check out their site for all of the goodies!

Have a great day, y’all! Thanks so much for spending some time with us!
