Hey, y’all! If you follow along on Instagram @thoughtfullystyled, you’ve seen some of this big boy bedroom reveal that I couldn’t wait to share! After Hurricane Harvey we made sure that our kids’ rooms were finished first. I hoped that if they came home to a finished bedroom they would feel more settled and less worried about the flood we had been through. I’m happy to report that they have done so well! 
SHELVING (on sale!)
Our son is 7 and was due for a big boy room. He knew he wanted a sports bedroom and since he loves ALL sports we decided to include them all! This wire shelf used to be in our guest bathroom but I thought it would be perfect to hold some sports equipment.
The storage at the foot of this bed has been wonderful. We keep books and a few toys stored there.
We left a big area in his room open for his “court.” This boy plays constantly. We may or may not have repaired drywall twice since we have been back home!
We added built-ins in our sons closet so this cute locker dresser is strictly for toys. I love how organized it keeps his room and because it’s so durable I don’t have to worry about it!

We are hoping this bedroom and furniture will work for our son for years to come. He loves it so much and it’s definitely a hang out for him and his friends.
