Fixer Upper

Hey y’all! I hope your 2018 has started off with a bang! I realized that I haven’t told y’all why we are calling our remodeled house the “Fixer Upper!” To try and make this flooding thing a bit more fun my husband has agreed to let me make all of the remodeling and design decisions myself! He has no idea (except for the financial part) what the house will look like in the end. I will pretend to be Joanna Gaines and have a big reveal for my husband in the end! I CANNOT wait! Even the kiddos know about most of the changes and love keeping the surprises for their daddy. The kids and I go by daily to check the progress on the house. They love seeing new updates and surprises for daddy — such a blessing!

Here are a few “before” pictures. These pictures were taken before Hurricane Harvey. I miss my house so much but cannot wait to truly make it our own.

I always disliked the color of my cabinets so replacing them has been a pleasure!

Here’s what it’s looking like today! We’ve added some storage and hope to get flooring soon!
