Happy Wednesday, y’all!
I’m obsessed with mixing prints! I actually go out of my way to make new combinations and new outfits with the clothing I already have. A few people have told me that mixing prints is intimating and that they end up look mismatched! So, here are are few tips when mixing prints!
1. Scale: One print should be primary and the second (or third) should be smaller and less bold.
2. Color Palette: It should blend, not necessarily match (but that’s okay too).
3. Prints: They should compliment one another and not fight for attention.
4. Material: The textures should go well together. For example, you wouldn’t want a summery gauzy material paired with a thick sweater material. Think season here.
How are y’all mixing prints? Any tips that you would add? We’d love to hear!
Have a great day, y’all! Thanks so much for stopping by!
