Hi there! My name is Elly and I will be filling in for Jessica and Casey today! I Blog over at Uptown with Elly Brown. I am a stay at home momma of two handsome little boys, and wifey of one incredibly good-looking, smart, and sweet hubby.

I love anything fashion and beauty. Honestly I have always wanted to be a fashion designer but I couldn’t draw if my life depended on it, so I stuck with what I could do which was putting outfits together for myself and my family. As far as describing my “style” I would say I am a minimalist. My style has evolved a lot since kids (just like a lot of other moms) but I love my heels and I refuse to depart from them (like EVER). I am in flats a lot more than I ever used to be, but when we go out as a family and I have Jordan’s (my hubby) help I can manage in heels.

Enough about me and lets talk about the outfit above. If I was working outside the home I would wear nothing but midi skirts, I love them! They’re so girly and so much fun! Don’t you think? This look is perfect for a date brunch with the girls, casual office attire, or better yet, a date night! Feeling a little sexy? Take off the jacket, put on some red lipstick and … va va voom … you can thank me later! Two staples you must have  is a GOOD denim jacket and some nude sandals. Both can be worn with ANYTHING and can transform your outfit instantly. So if you don’t have either of those, got get them!
