EASY FALL LAYERS

Happy Monday, y’all! I have a confession and I’m sharing in hopes that maybe I can ease a little stress from anyone that’s wired like me. I can be so hard on myself. I mean really, really hard on myself. For instance, this post should have gone out first thing this morning but I just wasn’t able to get to it. My son is recovering from a tonsillectomy and he needed me to be with him last night, ALL night! So, I worried about not getting this post up “on time.” I wish I could be easier on myself and live in the moment. I loved the extra snuggles with my little guy and so what if the post is a little late? Can anyone else relate? Do you need to show yourself a little more grace? Here’s permission! Life gets in the way of my “to do” lists all the time and I need to let that be okay and so do you! So, now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, let’s talk easy fall layers!

I am in love with this season’s “it” color! Whether you are calling it oxblood, maroon, or wine or whatever! I’m loving it!

Easy fall layers are essential when you live in a hot climate like Houston. We have to be able to take the layers off throughout the day as it gets super hot and then honestly, we need the long sleeves indoors because of the air conditioning! I hear that cooler weather is on the horizon and I hope it’s true! For now, I’ll be wearing these simple and versatile pieces and waiting for a brisk morning!
