Happy Thursday, y’all! It may be 100 degrees outside but with “back to school” just around the corner its hard not to think about transitioning to fall! So, today I want to share my tips to transitioning to fall and a blogger crawl invitation!
You guys know that I am a huge dress fan. One thing I love about dresses is how easy they are to layer and wear multiple seasons. This dress is lightweight and breathable and because it has a darker color palate it feels more like fall. Adding a denim jacket (which can be removed if needed) is a great way to help transition out of summer.
Another way to transition to fall is to add a hat. Stick to heavy fabrics or darker colors to give the fall feel.
Lastly, shoes can definitely make an outfit feel more like fall if they cover more of the foot and are a little darker than what you may wear in the summer. These peep toe booties are perfect because my feet can still breathe but they are definitely in season in the fall.
I’m also so excited to share this event with y’all! On Wedneday, August 17 I will be one of 11 bloggers hosting Market Street’s very first Blogger Crawl! Participating Market Street retailers will host the fashion bloggers, who will style guests in their favorite fall looks. I will be hosting along with Alice of Lone Star Looking Glass, Elly of Uptown with Elly Brown, Candace of Luxe with Kids, Esther of Cuteheads, Lilly of Daily Craving, Sara of Simply Ollie, Stephanie of Stephanie Taylor Jackson, Julie of From Prosecco to Plaid, Elvira of Fashion Rowe, and Tiffany of Flaunt and Center as we greet and style guests.
A punch card will serve as a raffle ticket, and guests who visit all participating retailers will be eligible to win a $500 Market Street gift card! Don’t miss the reception at Tommy Bahama immediately following the Blogger Crawl where you can enjoy complimentary appetizers and mix and mingle with the bloggers. A band will be playing tunes in Market Street’s Central Park throughout the evening. I will be at Alex and Ani during the crawl so make sure to come by and say hello and get that card stamped! The event is free but make sure to register in advance! Will I see you there?
Have a wonderful day, y’all! As always thanks for stopping by!
