STAYCATION WITH THE WESTIN AT THE WOODLANDS

Happy Monday, y’all! Just like every other married couple with children, from time to time my husband and I find ourselves need of some alone time. We’ve been married for 9 years and  a lot has happened in that time period : finished graduate school, started new jobs, fostered 5 babies, had biological twins, moved twice, etc, etc. At times the load of life just seems little overwhelming and we find ourselves needing to unplug from the world and reconnect with one another. Our recent staycation with The Westin at The Woodlands helped us do just that!

The weather was beautiful and mild so we spent most of our time outdoors lounging, talking, and simply being together. Though we live only a few miles from the hotel we truly felt as if we were on vacation.

Sleek and clean with a touch of mid-century modern pieces make the hotel feel luxurious yet still approachable. I felt completely comfortable and welcomed at the hotel.

The Woodlands newest hotel was a hit for us and needless to say we will be going back to The Westin! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to do it again. Reconnecting did wonders for our relationship and I highly suggest y’all try it!

    Looks like an awesome place for a staycation! My hubby and I always talk about visiting The Woodlands for various things, but traffic from Houston keeps us away. Staying at the Westin would definitely solve that! Thanks for sharing 🙂

    Oh that pool like so amazing! I also love your dress. It’s always nice to have a staycation. I’ve never been to the Westin at the Woodlands but I will have to check it out. I only live about 10 mins from the hotel.
